How Green Line Hose and Fittings used the Intelli.Build custom hose configurator to give customers a self-serve path, ramp new staff faster and open a new product line.
It's a no-brainer. It's replicating the Hoser experience.

If you run a hose shop, you know the scene. Three customers deep at the counter, the phone ringing, and the guy at the back of the line already knows exactly what he needs. He doesn't want help. He wants a way to skip the line.
Green Line built its reputation on the opposite of the industry norm. Where most shops tell a customer to drop off a hose and come back in two or three hours, Green Line turns custom assemblies around on the spot.
“One of the things that sets Green Line apart is that a lot of the time customers will have to stand there, drop off their hose, and come back. For us, it’s: no, we’re going to get this to you now.”
That speed only existed in person. A custom hydraulic assembly could only be quoted by phone or face to face, by a qualified rep with real product knowledge, and a new hire typically needed close to a year before working the counter.
“There was just no way for a customer who knows exactly what he wants. I just need this, I can do this myself.”

Customers build their hose on the spot at busy counters, or drop it in a bin for the team.

Available only through the configurator, since every assembly is custom.

Downstream distributors get their own product selection and logo on generated PDFs, plus grouped and kit assemblies.
We’re not taking that experience away. The same guy you’ve talked to on the phone for years, the hose expert, he’s reviewing your online order.
